This procedure aims to give smooth contours to your physique. Before you undergo a body contouring procedure, your weight must be stabilized with a normal BMI score. This is because further weight loss could result in more loose skin and rapid weight gain can increase the likelihood of stretch marks or scarring.

What is Liquid-Lipo Body Contouring?

Liquid-Lipo / mesotherapy treatments are fat-dissolving treatments targeted for areas of hard and soft fat, including abdominal areas, love handles (flanks) upper and lower back areas, thighs, arms, knees, under chin area and the buttocks. Areas of cellulite on legs and thighs can be successfully treated with the liquid-lipo procedure, as well as excess fat on the neck and face. Most patients turn to liquid-lipo where targeted exercise and a healthy diet have failed to work to remove the stubborn areas of remaining cellulite or fat.

What to Expect?

A topical anesthetic may be used for comfort. A tiny needle will be used to inject phosphatidylcholine deoxycholate (PC/DC) into the areas of concern. Each treatment can take anywhere from 15-30 minutes. After the injections, some swelling, and tenderness is to be expected. This typically resolves within a week. Injections are recommended every 4 weeks with an average of 3-10 treatments required based on size of the area being injected.
